  • Developed a public opinion and research methods course focused on political behavior and civic engagement (approx. 45 students)

  • Civic Scholars explore qualitative and quantitative research methods by creating a unique public opinion survey, conducting interviews, and holding focused groups.

  • 2021 Civic Scholars Program topic: Social determinants of health and health outcomes in Florida

  • 2022 Civic Scholars Program topic: civic engagement and public opinion on contemporary issues in Florida

Undergraduate Research Fellows Coordinator (2019-2022)

  • Coordinate student-faculty partnerships (approx. 35 students each semester)

    • Students are paired with faculty to collaborate on a research project

    • Students assist faculty with their research projects while gaining insight into the research process and the political science profession
